We're excited to welcome Louis Clark as the new Head of Apprenticeship Development at EFI Training. With extensive experience and a passion for shaping the future of apprenticeships, Louis will lead our programmes with innovation and purpose.

Louis' Journey Into Apprenticeships

Louis' career began in recruitment, where he discovered his passion for helping people explore their potential and career possibilities. Recognising that the sales aspect of recruitment wasn't for him, Louis transitioned into the apprenticeships sector, working across industries like fashion, healthcare, construction, and more. His dedication to the transformative power of apprenticeships even inspired him to earn a master's degree, focusing on their impact on education and careers in the UK.

Why Louis Chose This Role

As a fashion and media graduate, Louis resonates with creative and ambitious learners, like those at the Fashion Retail Academy. During the pandemic, he also developed a passion for the hair and beauty sector, aligning perfectly with the London College of Beauty Therapy. 

Louis' Responsibilties 

In his role, Louis will oversee the apprenticeship programmes at the Fashion Retail Academy, London College of Beauty Therapy and EFI Awards. He'll focus on:

• Designing bespoke apprenticeship programmes tailored to employer needs
• Providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions
• Monitoring policies and trends to keep EFI Training at the forefront of the sector
• Representing EFI Training at events to influence the development of apprenticeship standards

By blending strategic oversight with external engagement, Louis ensures EFI Training delivers innovative, impactful programmes.
