Meet The Team: Sara, Business Development Manager
13th February 2025
Sara Harris recently joined EFI Training as our Business Development Manager, bringing 25 years of experience in the apprenticeship industry.
What Does Sara's Role Involve?
Sara works directly with brands to create tailored training programmes that make the most of their apprenticeship levy funds. She meets business leaders at their head offices to understand workforce challenges and hosts networking events at the Electra House to foster industry partnerships.
By conducting in-depth business research and skill gap analyses, Sara helps brands identify the right training solutions to upskill teams, strengthen leadership, and drive business performance.
It is rewarding to see the learners learn news skills and to progress in their career through completing an apprenticeship!
Key Priorities for 2025
Sara is focused on expanding EFI Training's partnerships and supporting businesses in addressing critical skills shortages. With 70% of managers lacking formal training, she sees strong demand for leadership and management development. Sustainability is also a priority, as organisations prepare leaders for the future.
Why Invest in apprenticeships?
Unused apprenticeship levy funds are reclaimed by the government, meaning businesses lose out on valuable training opportunities. Investing in apprenticeships helps businesses develop future leaders through structured training pathways, improve staff retention by offering career progression, enhance team performance and reduce recruitment costs.
EFI Training offers apprenticeships from entry-level customer service and retail (Level 2) to senior leadership (Level 7). We can help you select the most effective programmes and even create brand-specific, closed cohorts tailored to your business needs!
