EFI Training is excited to launch its first partnership with PVH, the global company behind Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, by welcoming their first group of Level 3 Retail Team Leader apprentices. This programme highlights PVH's commitment to investing in its people by enhancing their skills and providing valuable development opportunities.
To mark the start of this partnership, we recently welcomed 14 new apprentices to Electra House for their induction. This gave them a firsthand look at the Fashion Retail Academy, where their in-person learning takes place, and helped them understand what to expect on their journey with us.
A Warm Welcome to PVH Apprentices
Earlier this week, the apprentices joined us in the Electra House boardroom for their induction. They were greeted with onboarding speeches from PVH's Managing Director, VP for People and Learning & Development team, who shared their vision for the programme.
The apprentices also toured our brand-new facilities, giving them a glimpse into their new learning environment. The enthusiasm was clear as they connected with their peers and engaged in presentations about career progression, wellbeing and support and the learning resources available to them.
Why This Apprenticeship Matters to PVH
For PVH, this apprenticeship represents a key milestone for Hub North - its first programme of this kind. Designed to strengthen staff retention and foster professional growth, it provides employees with the skills they need to drive PVH's future success.
Tara Hollis, PVH's Talent Development Specialist, said, "This programme is really to encourage retention, develop our employees and give back to that Supervisor level, ensuring that development opportunities are there. It's so we're a competitive brand against our competitors."

This programme also includes a work-based project, where apprentices consolidate their learning and pitch an idea or proposal to PVH leadership. Whether it's a strategy to make the business more data-driven, innovative or competitive, these projects ensure the programme delivers real-world impact and fresh perspectives for the business.

Noah, an Assistant Manager at Calvin Klein, shared his enthusiasm for the programme, saying it "provides a lot of stepping stones, especially with all the networking links that you also get from it and all the advice and help we've been offered today as well!"
He also highlighted the flexibility of the course, blending in-person learning with independent study, allowing him to balance his work and education effectively.
