The role of an administrator can vary depending on the size and needs of the business or department, but it is guaranteed to be fast-paced, challenging and exciting, encompassing a wide variety of tasks. On this course, learners will learn how to use initiative, solve problems, and demonstrate readiness for more senior responsibilities.
This apprenticeship programme delivers a broad education in day-to-day interaction with internal stakeholders, developing a range of transferrable skills to provide efficient and flexible admin support to multiple departments. Learners will gain knowledge of legislation, regulations, systems such as Excel and CRM software and other resources to aid them in their role.

The Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship delivers a wide range of transferrable skills to support almost every business area.

Level 3 Business Administrator apprentices can expect to gain a broad understanding of the retail industry and the key functions within the business. Topics covered include current legislation and regulations, and using popular systems such as Excel and CRM software to record and analyse business-critical data. Learners will develop flexible skills in communication, IT, problem-solving and project coordination.
On successful completion of the course, learners will be equipped with an essential set of administrative skills in areas such as finance, project management and communication. They will be able to support and collaborate with colleagues in various areas of the business including HR, Marketing, Customer Service, Buying and Merchandising, Digital, Finance and Creative.
The Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship costs £5,000 per learner which includes End-Point Assessment.
Funding
Apprenticeships can be funded from your Apprenticeship Levy or by Government Co-Invest. If you do not pay the Levy, the Government will fund 95% of the programme, meaning you pay as little as £250 per person you enrol. Duration: 12-15 months
The Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship typically takes 12-15 months to complete, followed by a period of end-point assessment of approximately 3 months.

Off-the-job learning is delivered through a combination of full day and half day group workshops approximately every 2-3 weeks, which may take place online or in person.

For the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship, end-point assessment is provided by EFI Awards. EPA typically takes 3 months to complete.
